Obtaining a License to Operate and Registering a Product for COVID-19 products
Normally, obtaining a License to Operate (LTO) and a Certificate of Product Registration (CPR) from the Philippine Food and Drug Administration (FDA) takes quite some time. However, FDA released Circular No. 2020-024 which prioritizes COVID-19 related companies and products. In particular, priority shall be given to establishments with function intended for use in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, prevention, and personal protective equipment (PPE) of COVID-19, and essential medicine.
